7TH CPC - NFIR on the warpath

The National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR) will launch an indefinite strike from the first week of March, 2016, if the government failed to meet the charter of demands on the ‘retrograde recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission’, said NFIR general secretary M. Raghavaiah.

Addressing a meeting of railway and other central government employees and National Joint Action Committee leaders here on, Mr. Raghavaiah said that a lot of injustice was done to employees in the 7th Pay Commission when compared to the 6th Pay Commission recommendations.
